"The events which transpired 5,000 years ago; five years ago or five minutes ago, have determined what will happen five minutes from now; five years from now or 5,000 years from now.  "All History is a Current Event"Dr. John Henrik Clarke (1915-1998)

Positive Reinforcement about the HUESTORY of this world.

The first civilization was in Africa along the Nile River Valley.

The original people of what is now called Egypt, were the Khemetic people.  Khemet means "black."  These people were the ones who built the great pyramids.

The first pharoah of Khemet (Egypt) was King Menses (Narmer).  Take a look at his pic to the right.  Does he look like any brothas that you know?  Look at his broad nose and full lips.  Have you ever wondered why the Spinx' nose was ripped off?  Because somebody, and I am not naming any names, didn't want people to know that the longest civilization which spanned 10,000 years was Black.

There is so much to RE-LEARN.  Learn it for yourselves and then share it with your children.  It's important to know the truth.  Isn't that what we tell our kids?  "Now tell the truth!"  Check out this link on Black-History-Month.net for pre-slavery resources that will give you something to think about.

Pappademos (1985) gave examples of Egyptian contributions to science such as the 365 day calendar based on astronomical observations, the sundial, water clocks, a device to measure stellar azimuths, knowledge of constellations, the methods used to precisely align the pyramids and temples, astronomy texts, prediction of eclipses, discovery of the spherical shape of the earth, precession of the equinoxes and the heliocentric theory. The Egyptians contributed to other civilizations, including Greek, Roman, Arabian, and European; see History of Mathematics in Egypt. Women are also deeply involved in math and science in Africa (see African Female Mathematicians).
